This page explains what Aurora Angler does with your information, what it does not do, and the controls you have on your device. In short: the game runs on your device, we don't collect personal information, and every purchase is handled by Apple.

1.Information we don't collect
We don't receive your name, email address, location, advertising identifier, retained IP address, app activity measurements, or content you create in Aurora Angler. There is no Aurora Angler account and no server operated by us.
2.How your game data is stored
Your progress, catches, coins, gems, gear, player profiles and settings are stored locally on your device.
If you choose to add a profile photo, it is taken with the camera or picked from your photo library, and it stays on your device. It is used only as your profile picture and is never sent to us.
Device, iCloud or other backup features may make a separate copy of this data when you turn them on. The provider of that backup decides how the copy is handled.
3.In-app purchases and subscription
Aurora Angler is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases. All purchases are direct: there are no loot boxes and nothing random is for sale.
Who handles your payment
Purchases are made through the App Store and processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, name or Apple Account email. Apple sends the app only a confirmation that a purchase was completed, which the app uses on your device to unlock the item you bought.
Angler Pass subscription
Angler Pass renews automatically each month until you cancel it. The payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and it renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.
Restoring purchases and refunds
One-time purchases and your subscription are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored with Restore Purchases in the Shop or in Settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4.Game Center
Leaderboards, friends' scores and achievements use Apple Game Center, which is optional. If you are signed in, your Game Center nickname, avatar, scores and achievements are handled by Apple and may be visible to other players according to your Game Center settings. We don't receive this information on our own servers. If you are not signed in, rankings are kept on your device only.
5.Permissions
- Camera — asked only when you take a profile photo.
- Photos — you pick one existing photo for your profile; the app does not browse your library.
- Notifications — asked only if you turn them on in the game's Settings.
iOS asks for your approval before any of these is used, and you can change your choice at any time in the Settings app.
6.Ads, analytics and sharing
The app includes no advertising network and no third-party analytics SDK. We don't sell, rent or share personal data from the app.
Apple may separately process App Store, transaction, device or diagnostic data under the Apple Privacy Policy.
7.Deletion and retention
We cannot provide or delete a remote profile because none is created. To remove your data, use Delete all data in the game's Settings, or uninstall the app. Purchases stay on your Apple Account and can be restored later. Backup copies are kept according to your backup provider's rules.
8.Children
We knowingly collect no personal information from children or any other users. Parents can turn off or limit in-app purchases on a child's device using Screen Time in the Settings app.
9.Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date at the top.
